BUSINESS TRANSFORMATION PANEL DISCUSSION AT FUNDAN UNIVERSITY.

On October 19, GloCoach was invited to host a "Coaching for Business Transformation" panel discussion at the Washington - Fudan EMBA program. During the event the two coaches, Sherie and Bruce, shared how coaching can effectively help organizations transform more quickly by sharing 4 case studies and the methodologies applied to drive desired results.Some of the key points included were:
In today's VUCA environment, there is no simple solution for a business to transformation successfully. Industry leaders struggle everyday in multiple fields such as:
- Setting direction for success
- Empowering the team
- Driving results
- Adapting for change
The coaches shared examples on how they address tough questions:
- Diagnose the real challenges/issues
- Aligning on SMART goals
- Applying coaching + mentoring/advising
- Holding coachees accountable for change
- Involving stakeholders (e.g line managers and HR)
The audience had many interesting questions that led to an interesting discussion. The GloCoach team enjoyed the interactive event and we hope it was the same for the EMBA students.
