BC, ICF PCC ( Professional Certified Coach) has accumulated years of leadership experience at the executive level in a range of industries including electronics manufacturing, construction services, and equipment design and integration. A native of Malaysia, his rich international experience includes posts in the US, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, China and Malaysia. He has served as APAC Marketing Manager for Trane, a US-based multinational company, and General Manager of Computime where he was responsible for multiple manufacturing sites in China. He also served as the Senior Director of Global Manufacturing.
A core element of BC's leadership focus has been the development of others. He has always invested his time in training, skills development and coaching emerging leaders in the elements of inspirational leadership. He has turned around under-performing teams with his coaching-style leadership, while grooming key players to assume their next roles by helping them to develop interpersonal skills and and management competency.

1. Delegating/motivating - for all functional heads reporting to me, I emphasize that my main role is to train and guide them to do my tactical day-to-day work, and to develop them to ascend to their next position.
2. Driving organisational change - I was parachuted in to turn around the under-performing operations of a team that was managed hierarchically with command and control. I built them into a self-managed, empowered and effective cross-functional team.
3. Driving organisation transition - I led the transition of a state-owned joint venture to a wholly foreign-owned enterprises, shifting the internal culture from focusing on tasks to focusing on outcomes and results.
4. Managing outcomes - I served as the project leader of a cross-functional team driving timely delivery of new products and the start-up of a new factory.
5. Prioritizing - I guide coachees to focus on key objectives and shared time management tools to help them plan and remain committed to action.
6. Develop cultural sensitivities - Having worked across various cities and provinces, I appreciate that each city has its own unique culture which is intertwined with the peoples' work habits.
