Bharath is a creative strategist with 14+ years in marketing communications best practices, project management and working with top management to align communications strategy to business goals.
Prior to setting up his own consultancy in 2017, Bharath was very successful with a number of corporate organizations such as Golf Digest India where he led a team to re-launch the magazine through multi-channel communications and also developed engaging content as the Editor. At BMW Group India he defined the communications and product launch strategies working closely with the marketing and sales teams for several new launches and customer experiences.
At the US$22bn multinational corporation, Essar Group (businesses in Oil, Steel, Shipping, Construction and Telecom), he led a team to launch an internal news network and TV studio that generated digital content for internal and external communications. This highly successful project was a first-of-its-kind initiative by a corporate in India. In a dual role, he also served as a strategic business analyst to the CEO of the Engineering, Procurement and Construction business (EPC) where he worked with the heads of business verticals to drive an order book of US$1bn. His team also customized an industry-first CRM system using SAP which won the SAP Ace award for innovation in 2013. He has extensive experience in dealing with multi-cultural teams and cross border business.
Bharath holds an MBA in International Business from Thunderbird School of Global Management (Arizona State University) and a BA in public relations from Drake University (Iowa, USA). In his spare time, he loves to play golf where is a single-digit handicapper and also loves exploring the outdoors. He currently lives in Toronto, Canada.
