The key to each one of these 6 different but over lapping skills revolves around a sense of knowing.
Developing exceptional presentation skills – Speaking in front of people is a skill and not an innate ability, thus must be worked on through high understand and high repetition. I’ve coached key winning speeches of national competitions. The key was the visualization of the story. For internal and external use with a focus on b2c/b2b selling and partnership development creating a strong and well practiced pitch is important but more critical is the work and preparations surrounding that including understanding to whom you are presenting too.
Drive corporate innovation – I’ve worked on multiple ground up innovation development with both product and service based businesses. It can be overwhelming having so many stakeholders and at the same time being able to make critical choices along the way that drive the process through to completion.
Driving negotiations - For sure a specialty of mine. The art of deal making is something i coach and practice every day. I've advised the 'value-creating process', rather than the distributive bargaining. I’ve bought large commercial buildings, I’ve haggled at a market but at the end of the day, understand the value and depending on what side of the table your sitting knowing how to create it or how to value it withing parameters is half the battle.
Prioritizing/time management - There are tools and systems i have implemented into my companies over time but this is a simple topic. Measuring the performance, having a feel for that and practicing the skill or forecasting.
Work/life balance – There is no balance it’s the one whole thing. I do well at life. Happy share stories.
