David is an executive coach and management consultant with over 20 years of experience in helping business leaders and teams unlock their full potential for growth and performance excellence.
David has worked with many organizations, from Fortune 500 companies to innovative startups, across multiple industries in the US, Asia Pacific and Europe. He has served some of the world’s leading corporations such as Pfizer, AstraZeneca, KPMG, American Express, Moody’s, Hobsons, China Mobile, Baidu, etc.
In his role as executive coach, David brings a depth of behavioral and organizational insights combined with a pragmatic business acumen and focus on impact. He has worked with senior and emerging leaders in many key areas of personal, team and organizational effectiveness: strategic thinking, executive presence and communication, top team effectiveness, situational leadership, team development, conducting difficult conversations, giving effective feedback, managing cultural change, making leadership transitions, and diversity & inclusion initiatives, etc.
As management consultant, David has been engaged in a wide array of strategic, operational and organizational improvement efforts that help companies win and thrive in today’s ever-changing business battlefield – key initiatives such as launching new products in a crowded market, building global brands, driving sales force effectiveness, delivering customer service excellence, fostering cross-functional teamwork, building a culture of innovation, engaging employees and top talents, and managing post-M&A cultural integration, etc.
In recent years, David has also been working with US higher education institutions and top Chinese high schools to bridge the gap between potential and reality. He helped the US college admissions community better understand the evolving needs of Chinese students. He served as a strategic advisor to one of the leading global education companies in creating an innovative College and Career Readiness Program that serves Chinese students. He planned and organized International Forum on the Power and Possibilities of Liberal Arts Education. He partnered with leading high schools in China to build school-based college counseling functions and capabilities as part of their international education growth strategies.
Born in China and educated in the US, David has developed a deep and nuanced understanding of the complexities of managing and leading across cultures and geographies and brings his know-how to project engagements of many of his culturally-diverse and internationally-oriented clients.
David graduated with a BA in Government/Political Science from Harvard University. He and his wife reside in Orlando, Florida.

Throughout my professional career, I have grown to take on responsibilities of increasing size and complexities. This has required me to continuously adapt to my new roles. What I found particularly helpful, over the years , is to push myself out of my own comfort zones and embrace the changes necessary to deliver business results and help the whole team be successful.
