Ivy is a highly accomplished finance professional from the automotive industry with working experience in both Germany and China. In just 15 years she rose from a junior controller of a Shanghai-based manufacturing facility with Continental, the German automotive parts giant, to become Controller of their entire China Division and CFO of its local joint venture. In this capacity, she sees her role as business partner to the CEO, and consistently seeks to add value by defining a clear vision that the team can translate into tangible goals for the healthy long-term development of the organization.
Along the way, Ivy established her reputation as a inspiring leader who is passionate in people development. She is adept at working across multiple cultures, languages, nationalities and functions. She now spends a significant portion of her time in training and coaching with the aim to support individuals' and organizations' development.
Never one to stop growing, in 2018 Ivy began to explore Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), the highly-effective strategic tool developed by Andy Grove and Intel in the 1970s. She implemented this tool in her served business sector and gained huge success. As a result the business got up to speed in a record time. Moreover, the relevant teams gained the culture of setting challenging goals, focusing through out difficult times and staying really engaged. After that Ivy devoted her passion in promoting OKRs and started her journey being a trainer for OKRs and support different companies from different industries implementing this tool. She also creatively combined OKRs implementation with coaching programs, which supported the OKRs culture to be established at the same time in the served companies. Now Ivy is passionate with this journey, believing that OKRs would be the tool supporting more and more companies and individuals to succeed.
