John is a highly-accomplished senior executive who is passionate about helping others to grow and succeed. In less than 20 years, he skyrocketed to the most senior levels of the automotive industry on the strength of his natural leadership abilities. Although he continues to serve as the top China-based leader for a dynamic multinational, he makes time in his schedule to coach others.

John's career in automotive engineering began in 2003 with Siemens VDO as a Sales Application Engineer and later Senior Product Manager. After Siemens VDO merged with Continental Automotive Group in 2009, he served as Program Manager for the combined entity. Since March of 2009, John has been working for Albonair China (a Hinduja Group company), first as Business Manager and later as Vice General Manager. In this role he is head of the China team and responsible for daily operations.

Throughout his career, John has always appreciated the support he received from his mentors, and developed a passion for helping others to develop their professional skills and advance their careers. With that in mind, as he reached the most senior levels of the industry, he actively sought to give back as a coach and mentor to others. He now leverages both his experience and passion to help aspiring leaders to develop strategic vision, build their skills for organizational development help them to identify and grow talent within their own organizations.

John's passion for the automotive industry began in 1995 when he entered Beijing Tsinghua University and earned a bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering and a minor in law. In 1999 he received Tshinghua's highest honer with first-place in the prestigious Beijing City Excellent Student Award (北京市三好学生). He later earned a master's degree in Power Machinery and Engineering from Tsinghua.
