I do a lot of mentoring and training with Entrepreneurs and Startups with my work at Chinaccelerator and MOX. I work with their batch incubator program, where 3 to 4 times a year, a batch of 6 to 12 startups will come through their program. My focus is on the digital technology, marketing and branding space, and the intersection of all those elements to help drive corporate growth. As part of this, you have to be able to manage how people work, how they operate with different teams and personalities, and how they can achieve success together as a collective team. I act as the team counselor, coaching them through their daily activities and their efforts to collaborate with each other, even if they have different KPIs and objectives. The result is that they all need to work in unison to achieve a team output, and a lot of what I do and am strong at is making sure this happens.
I come from an Agency Services background, where we work with various corporate clients across a spectrum of categories - FMCG, Automotive, Luxury, Tech, Alcohol, Fast Casual Dining, Services and Beauty Cosmetics. With cross-category experience and depth of knowledge across highly matrixed and complex organizations across different regions and markets, you end up being very good at working with many different people, tools and processes. I'm very strong at connecting the dots, and ensuring that everything I recommend and suggest is actionable, tangible and tied into the larger macro view of your situation.
