ORID在coaching中的作用

我在前几篇Coaching介绍的文章中说到,Coaching通过启发思考和反思,帮助被辅导者发挥最大个人潜能。

很多学员反馈说,教练确实提了很多问题,但是东一榔头,西一锤子,感觉很散乱,对自己没什么帮助。这是很普遍的现象,因为问题缺乏深度,没法做到“一击入魂”。

但是怎么才能深度激发被辅导者的思考和反思呢?ORID就是一种非常简洁且行之有效的方法。

什么是ORID?

ORID又称焦点讨论法,是一种用于模式化交谈的工具,它的好处是“聚焦、挖深”。它包含四个层次的问题

ORID非常符合人类大脑的本能的思维逻辑。举个例子来说,

我走在路上,看见一条70斤的大狗向自己靠近过来(客观性层次)

我感到有些慌张(反映性层次)

举例1:个人职业规划

客观性问题:

  • 在过去的五年里,你从事过哪些不同的工作?
  • 在过去一年中,你做得最成功的事是什么?
  • 你的同事,经理,朋友,家人曾经给过你哪些反馈?

反映性问题:

  • 当谈及个人职业规划时,你的心情是怎么样的?
  • 什么样的事情会激励你?
  • 什么样的事情会使你感到挫败(焦虑)?
  • 你喜欢(不喜欢)和什么样的人一起工作?

诠释性问题:

  • 职业规划对你来说有多重要?
  • 你对自己未来的职业发展有哪几种设想?
举例二,项目进度汇报

客观性问题:

  • 这个项目的KPI有哪些?
  • 你在这个项目中负责哪些部分?
  • 请说说这个项目目前的进展?还有哪些没有完成?
  • 有哪些潜在的风险点?

反映性问题:

  • 对这个项目目前的状态,1分代表不满意,10分代表完美,你会打几分?
  • 哪些方面你感到特别满意?
  • 哪些方面你感到很不满意(生气,焦虑)?
  • 有哪些潜在的风险点?
举例三,化解冲突

客观性问题:

  • 从什么时间开始,你注意到和XX的关系变糟的?
  • 当时发生了什么事?
  • 当时有哪些人在场?他们对此说了什么?

反映性问题:

  • 对于你和XX的关系,能说说你现在的心情是怎样的?
  • 哪些方面让你觉得很烦躁(不舒服)?
  • 经过这些天,你现在对此的反应是什么?

诠释性问题:

  • 和XX的冲突,对你意味着什么?
